GREEN BAY – The Green Bay Packers are shuffling their offensive line.
If you don’t believe it, consider this: the Packers have agreed to terms with San Francisco 49ers guard Aaron Banks, a source confirmed.
NFL Network reported that Banks would sign a four-year, $77 million free-agent contract with the Packers when free agency officially begins Wednesday.
According to a source, Banks would likely play left guard, the position at which he started for the 49ers. His signing all but assures that the Packers will not re-sign free agent center Josh Myers and opens the door for left guard Elgton Jenkins to move to center.
