The Green Bay Packers’ workouts of veteran cornerbacks on Tuesday suddenly have a great deal more context.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Packers are planning to send cornerback Davon House to injured reserve, likely ending his season. House was listed on the injury report for the Packers’ week three game in Washington with a biceps injury. However, ESPN’s Rob Demovsky reports that a nagging shoulder injury is actually what is sending him to IR.
House could theoretically be designated for return later this season, however, but would not be eligible to be reactivated until week 12 at the earliest.
