The Green Bay Packers kick off their preseason slate on Saturday, when they’ll travel to Cleveland to play the Browns for a 3:25 p.m. CT kick. In his pre-practice presser on Tuesday, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur stated plainly and clearly that the starters will suit up and play, though, it’s uncertain how long the starters will be in the game.
According to LaFleur, the team is going to “be smart” with guys who are recovering from injury. That includes right tackle Zach Tom, who has only recently returned to training camp practices in team drills — after spending most of the summer only participating in walkthroughs and individual drills due to a pec injury.
