Green Bay — Tight end Andrew Quarless' road back from an early season knee injury has ended.
According to two sources, the Green Bay Packers informed Quarless that they plan to put him on injured reserve. He tweeted Thursday evening that his season was over, but did not provide specifics.
Despite Quarless playing in three straight games after coming off the injured reserve/ designated to return list, he apparently had some trouble with his knee after the game Sunday at Washington. Quarless was added to the injury report and listed as a limited participant Wednesday and Thursday.
