Green Bay Packers fans may end up remembering Nico Collins in the same breath as Terry McLaurin. In the 2019 NFL Draft, the Packers selected tight end Jace Sternberger with the 75th pick, and McLaurin went to Washington one pick later. McLaurin was an instant star and is one of the most consistent wide receivers in the NFL despite working with numerous different quarterbacks in his five-plus years with the Commanders, while Sternberger was out of the NFL after just a few years.
Collins looks to be a player who will haunt Packers fans’ memories for a similar third-round mistake.
