It’s not often a team goes two seasons without making the playoffs but can be considered a Super Bowl contender. But that’s where the Green Bay Packers are entering the 2019 season.
Are the Packers favorites to reach the Super Bowl next year? No. Will many people expect them to reach the NFC Championship Game? Or even win the NFC North? Probably not.
But as long as Aaron Rodgers is playing quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, they should be considered Super Bowl contenders.
The Packers have won a championship with Rodgers, and have reached the NFC Championship Game twice in the past five seasons.
