The Packers for the first time decided on Tuesday to protect four of their players on the practice squad from being poached by other teams. Note that the Packers only needed to place six players on the inactive list in part because Dillon, Kamal Martin, and Jamaal Williams went on the Covid-19 list. The team kept Kirksey and Lazard on the IR list.
