On Wednesday, the Green Bay Packers practiced for the first time since last Thursday’s win over the Chicago Bears — a win that took a heavy toll on the team on the injury front. However, the Packers got some encouraging news regarding their injured players today, as all but one player on the 53-man roster was able to participate in some fashion.
It is worth noting that Wednesday is the Packers’ non-padded practice, and some of these statuses may change on Thursday when the team does put on the pads. However, the fact that both injured running backs — Ty Montgomery and Jamaal Williams — were participating is a positive sign, and the fact that Williams was a full participant is nothing short of a pleasant surprise.
