Packers Week 4 Defense Snap Counts: Secondary forced to adjust without top CBs

The Green Bay Packers got some bad news late last week when Jaire Alexander suffered an injury in practice, then had their fears confirmed when he was ruled out before Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings. Combined with Carrington Valentine’s injury, the Packers went into week four’s game without two of their top three outside corners, which forced the team to adjust.

That’s not an ideal situation against any team, but especially not against one that features the likes of Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison at wide receiver. Indeed, those two wideouts ended up having big games, each scoring a touchdown and posting over 70 receiving yards as the Vikings jumped out to a big lead in the first half.
