The game that Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs just had on Sunday ranks as one of the biggest and best workloads in his career. Jacobs’ performance was the third-highest single-game rushing total of his career, and his 32 carries were only one shy of his career high, set with the Las Vegas Raiders two years ago.
That was the result of the Packers’ game plan against the Indianapolis Colts, which called for a heavy dose of Jacobs throughout the game. And even though Jacobs had a touchdown called back by penalty and fumbled away a chance for another at the goal line, it was still an impressive performance by him and by the Packers’ offensive line, particularly with a rookie quarterback behind center.
