The Green Bay Packers officially waived DL Ego Ferguson with a failed physical designation just days after claiming him off of waivers from the Bears.
Ferguson, 25, was taken in the second round of the 2014 NFL draft. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $4,113,203 contract and stands to make a base salary of $980,892 for the 2017 season.
Chicago elected to waive him with an injury designation at the start of the season and he was later placed on injured reserve after clearing waivers.
Last week, the Bears officially moved on from Ferguson before he was claimed by he Packers on Monday.
