The Green Bay Packers were victorious on Thursday night in the final game of the 2017 preseason schedule, defeating the Los Angeles Rams by a score of 24-10. The Packers got nice performances from their defense and a few rookie running backs as they got a good, long look at sixty players up and down their roster.
The Packers inactivated a whopping 28 players for Thursday’s game, between injuries and simply sitting starters (primarily on offense). It showed immediately on the Packers’ first offensive drive as well, as the backup offensive line got blown up on the first running play.
