Sunday provides the struggling Green Bay Packers with a shot at redemption. A week after they were dismantled in Denver by the now 7-0 Broncos, the Packers get another premier matchup with an undefeated team in the form of the Carolina Panthers.
Since this is an NFC-NFC matchup, this game has significantly more long-term impact than last week's game, however, with playoff seeding coming very much into play. If the Packers lose, they will effectively be three games behind Carolina, sitting two games back and conceding the head-to-head tiebreaker. However, a win will put them right back atop the NFC and in prime position for a run at the top seed.
