On its face, there is not a whole lot on the line in week 18 when the NFL’s oldest rivals get together. The Green Bay Packers already have a playoff spot locked in, while the Chicago Bears are well outside the postseason picture. But don’t tell these teams that this game doesn’t matter — there’s no shortage of pride and motivation on both sides heading into the final game of the regular season.
The Packers still have a chance to earn the NFC’s #6 seed instead of the #7, a scenario which would allow them to avoid a Wild Card matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.
