The Green Bay Packers are 5-2 in the toughest division in football. While the Packers are surging, they still have room to improve on defense. General manager Brian Gutekunst could look to make a trade to give them an edge in the division.
FanSided's James Mastrucci urged the Packers to reunite with Za'Darius Smith through a trade deadline deal.
"The NFL trade deadline is less than two weeks away, and teams looking to get themselves ready for their push into and through the playoffs will be making deals," wrote Mastrucci. "There have been a few players on teams out of contention that have already been floating around in trade rumors, and one player in particular would be an ideal target for the Green Bay Packers: Za'Darius Smith.
