In his post-game press conference on Saturday, following the team’s 23-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that the plan for next week is to use their joint practice with the Denver Broncos as “game reps” for their starting players. So if you weren’t satisfied with quarterback Jordan Love’s two throws or running back Josh Jacobs’ single carry versus Cleveland, you’re gonna have to wait at least a little longer to see the starters play — unless you’re taking the trip to Denver.
The Packers played their starters for just one drive against the Browns, which lasted just three plays on the offensive side of the ball — culminating in a 65-yard passing touchdown for Love.
