GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Ty Montgomery believes the illness related to sickle cell trait that kept him out of last Sunday’s game at Atlanta won’t be a concern going forward.
The Green Bay Packers' receiver/running back even thinks he could play this Sunday against the Colts.
“It’s looking good,” Montgomery said Friday. “I’m feeling optimistic about it.”
The second-year pro revealed earlier in the week that he was held out of the Falcons’ game because of complications from the condition that he’s known about -- but had never before had problems with -- for years.
