The Green Bay Packers continue to look for ways to improve their offensive line depth. According to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, interior swing lineman Ben Gottschalk tried out for the team Monday.
Gottschalk, 23, went undrafted in 2014 but wound up spending time on the Kansas City Chiefs' practice squad. Earlier this offseason, he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but was released at the end of May to make room for place kicker Brandon Bogotay.
At 6'5", 293 pounds, Gottschalk can play multiple positions along the offensive line.
