There’s no such thing as a weekend break in the NFL, at least not once training camp begins. The Green Bay Packers practiced through the weekend, but following a single off day on Monday, they’re back at practice this morning.
The team is scheduled to begin practice at Ray Nitschke Field at 10:15 AM Central once again, that time evidently being Matt LaFleur’s preferred time to start.
This writer is hoping that the extra off day will be enough time for rookie safety Darnell Savage to be fully recovered from his wisdom teeth extraction. He remains on the Non-Football Illness list for the time being.
