This year, the Green Bay Packers will rarely practice on a Saturday. It happens just twice all throughout training camp, but the first of those sessions comes today at 10:15 AM Central Time.
For the third straight day, Matt LaFleur’s team hits Ray Nitschke Field for an open practice, and after two days in shorts the pads are finally starting to come on. While full pads will have to wait for tomorrow, there should at least be a little more contact on Saturday than in the first two practices of the summer.
Meanwhile, Packers fans willing to brave any potential weather can rest assured that their team will stay outside whenever possible this summer.
