It’s finally here, Green Bay Packers fans! The team is finally taking to the field for the first practice of training camp as Matt LaFleur begins to get his squad ready for the 2019 season. Players reported to camp earlier this week, but this morning we get the thrilling first on-field action in pads.
Practice is set to begin at 10:15 AM local time at Ray Nitschke Field, with players taking their first of man traditional bike rides out from the Lambeau Field facilities to practice. Today we’ll start to learn about a number of critical topics: if Darnell Savage’s recovery from wisdom teeth extraction will allow him to participate, how the Packers’ defensive line will suit up without Mike Daniels, what the offense will start to look like under LaFleur, and much more.
