Packers Training Camp 2018: Live practice updates & discussion for August 13

The Green Bay Packers got a huge boost to the team’s and fans’ morale on Sunday. Practicing for the first time in public since Thursday’s preseason-opening win over the Tennessee Titans, the Packers got two big names back from injury: left tackle David Bakhtiari and rookie cornerback Jaire Alexander.

Bakhtiari practiced for the first time since spraining his ankle at Family Night, while Alexander was also off all last week while dealing with a groin injury.

Following their absences, Bakhtiari will likely take some time to get back into the starting lineup on a full-time basis; don’t be surprised if he takes this week’s preseason game off and waits until the third game in Oakland next Friday.
