The Packers have moved to address the interior linebacker position, trading for BJ Goodson formerly of the New York Giants.
After initially planning to waive him, the #Giants are trading LB BJ Goodson to the #Packers, per @TomPelissero and me.
Goodson is a thumper who is a tackling machine, though undoubtedly a bit of a liability in coverage. He does offer something on special teams.
