The Packers announced today that they’ll wear their 1950s-style throwback uniforms for Week 9, sporting all green for their first 2024 meeting with the Detroit Lions.
This will be the fourth time the Packers have worn their all-green throwback uniforms since they were unveiled in 2021. The Packers last wore their all-green ensemble in their Week 11 win over the Chargers last season on November 19, 2023.
The Packers have historically done pretty well when they’ve worn their throwback uniforms. Since 1994, the first year the Packers have worn something modern audiences would consider a “throwback,” the Packers are 12-6 when wearing historical alternates.
