Packers to sign Devin Funchess

An area of need for the Green Bay Packers got some help in free agency on Tuesday, as it was reported that wide receiver Devin Funchess would be signed by the team.

Funchess, who turns 26 in May, spent last year with Indianapolis, appearing in just one game before going on injured reserve. Prior to that, Funchess spent four years in Carolina, playing in 61 games while starting 40 with 161 catches for 2,233 yards and 21 touchdowns.

The 6'4" receiver was a second-round pick by Carolina in the 2015 NFL Draft out of Michigan.
