The Packers will re-sign outside linebacker Nick Perry, a source told ESPN's Adam Caplan.
After declining the fifth-year option on the former first-round pick, the Packers re-signed Perry to a one-year, $5 million "prove-it" type of contract last offseason.
Perry, 26, responded with easily the best season of his career, finishing with a team-high 12 sacks (including playoffs), despite missing two games with a broken hand.
In five seasons, he has 30.5 sacks in 68 games, including the playoffs.
The 28th overall pick in the 2012 draft had been dogged by injuries during the early part of his career, playing in only 17 of a possible 32 games during his first two seasons combined.
