The battle for the Green Bay Packers’ third quarterback spot is getting interesting. After a poor performance by Joe Callahan in the third quarter (in part due to an ugly performance by the backup offensive line), rookie Taysom Hill took the field with the Packers down 17-14.
On Hill’s second drive, he showed off his terrific athleticism, scrambling a few times and escaping the pocket to complete a few throws on the run. However, it was Hill’s scramble on a second down from the 23-yard line that was the most impressive play of the night thus far for the BYU alumnus:
Hill’s scramble gave the Packers a lead at 21-17 after Mason Crosby’s PAT.
