The move effectively ends up being a swap of interior offensive linemen on the team’s practice squad, as the team released Austin Davis and signed rookie free agent Anthony Coyle to that unit.
Davis, who primarily played center and dabbled at guard in training camp, was an undrafted free agent signing out of Duke. The Packers paid him a $6,000 signing bonus to sign with the team, but he was waived at final cuts and landed on the practice squad.
