Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Packers signing OLB Ahmad Brooks to a one-year contract that can be worth up to $5 million.
The Packers really needed some pass rush depth behind Clay Matthews and Nick Perry, and given that Brooks is one of the best available free agents at the position, this looks like a pretty good fit for him.
Brooks, 33, is a former supplemental third-round pick of the Bengals back in 2006. He spent two years in Cincinnati before he was claimed off of waivers by the 49ers in 2008.
