Packers Sign WR Ryan Grant as the Search For WR2 Continues

With the absence of Davante Adams due to injury the past two weeks, a lingering problem with the current Green Bay Packers roster reared its ugly head: there really is no solid WR2 for QB Aaron Rodgers to target. Players such as Geronimo Allison and Marques Valdez-Scantling were expected to step up and make up for the departure of Jordy Nelson and the overall youthfulness of the wide receiver position for the Packers.

As of Week 6, that just hasn’t happened.

Enter Ryan Grant

Not to be confused with the former Packers back Ryan Grant, he was a 5th round pick for the Washington Redskins in the 2014 NFL Draft, Grant has since bounced around a few different organizations including the Indianapolis Colts, Oakland Raiders, and now the Green Bay Packers.
