The Green Bay Packers added a wide receiver to the practice squad to replace Juwann Winfree, who was promoted to the active roster on Tuesday.
The team signed Josh Malone, a fourth-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals in 2017 who has played for three NFL teams.
Malone, 25, worked out for the Packers earlier this week. He has played in 26 career NFL games, catching 11 passes for 91 yards and a touchdown. Malone has also returned seven kickoffs, potentially providing special teams value for the Packers in that area.
Green Bay is dealing with injuries at receiver and kickoff returner.
