The Green Bay Packers have signed WR James Jones, released WR Myles White and signed nine players to the practice squad. The transactions were announced Monday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
Jones (6-foot-1, 208 pounds) is entering his ninth season in the NFL. He was originally selected by the Packers in the third round (78th overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft and played his first seven seasons with Green Bay. Jones spent the 2014 season with the Oakland Raiders and the 2015 preseason with the New York Giants.
