The Green Bay Packers’ third signing of the 2018 free agent period was not as flashy as their first two, but it addresses the position that is arguably the biggest hole on the roster entering the offseason. Furthermore, the team is bringing an old friend back to town.
Cornerback Tramon Williams is reportedly signing with the Packers on a two-year deal, rejoining the team after a three-year hiatus. The news was first reported by James Jones of the NFL Network, one of Williams’ former teammates in Green Bay. Williams spent eight seasons in Green Bay, six of them as a full-time starter, and was a Pro Bowler during the 2010 season.
