Wow. It’s already been a hectic start to free agency for the Green Bay Packers, and it’s only just begun.
After reportedly signing inside linebacker Christian Kirksey to a two-year deal, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport now reports the team is signing tackle Rick Wagner.
According to ESPN’s Field Yates, it’s a two-year deal worth $11 million, with $3.5 million fully guaranteed. That’s a low-risk signing for a veteran right tackle who could start right away for the Packers.
Wagner spent the past three seasons with the Detroit Lions but was released on Friday to free up cap room.
