The Green Bay Packers appear to finally have their scrappy little rookie quarterback back in town. Joe Callahan, who spent all summer and training camp with the Packers this year, is coming back after a pair of stops with the Saints and Browns.
The Browns waived Callahan on Tuesday, after a couple of their injured quarterbacks were cleared to resume practicing. Callahan finally cleared waivers for the first time, and guess who was there to swoop in as soon as he did? That’s right - Mike McCarthy and Ted Thompson:
Looks like Joe Callahan is going back to Green Bay.
