On Saturday, the team signed Drew Kaser, formerly of the Los Angeles Chargers, according to Field Yates of ESPN.
The move comes as a result of what felt like a disastrous outing against the Los Angeles Rams from the Packers' rookie punter, JK Scott. However, Scott has been well below average for consecutive weeks now.
He's averaged under 43 yards per punt in three of his last four games -- the only game he didn't was against the Detroit Lions last month, a game in which the Packers didn't punt once.
Prior to the bye week, Scott's average on four punts was 38.
