On Wednesday afternoon, the Green Bay Packers announced that they have filled the vacant spot on their practice squad, filling the room that opened up when they promoted fullback Joe Kerridge to the 53-man roster on Saturday.
The player getting the spot is Francis Kallon, an offensive tackle. Interestingly, Kallon — a rookie out of Georgia Tech — played defensive end in college. He recorded 15 total tackles, three tackles for loss, and two sacks as a senior in 2016.
According to NFLDraftScout.com, Kallon’s Pro Day workout in March was impressive.
