Packers sign kicker Brandon McManus, plan to start him immediately

The Brayden Narveson era is over. After six weeks and five missed field goals, the Green Bay Packers have moved on.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Packers have signed kicker Brandon McManus, who Schefter stated “is expected to be kicking for them Sunday” when they played the Houston Texans at Lambeau Field. McManus was brought to Green Bay for a workout on Tuesday after weeks of Narveson struggling.

McManus previously played for the Denver Broncos and Jacksonville Jaguars. He also signed with the Washington Commanders, who released him before he ever played a game for the team.
