Green Bay — After relying almost exclusively on Richards Rodgers for the last two games, the Green Bay Packers finally bolstered the tight end position Wednesday by signing Justin Perillo off the practice squad.
The move was made possible by placing safety Sean Richardson on injured reserve, officially ending his season. Richardson suffered a herniated disc in his neck for the second time last week and his career is now in jeopardy.
The Packers also signed defensive back Kyle Sebetic, a Kenosha Tremper alum, to fill Perillo's spot on the practice squad.
