Another former Broncos defender has moved on in free agency. Outside linebacker Lerentee McCray signed contract with the Green Bay Packers Monday, an NFL source confirmed.
McCray was a restricted free agent, but the Broncos did not tender him an offer, allowing him to sign freely with another team.
McCray played in 24 regular-season and four postseason games for the Broncos over the past two seasons totaling 24 tackles, 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
Since he was not tendered an offer, the former undrafted free agent will not count toward the compensatory pick formula, as is Ted Thompson's M.
