The Green Bay Packers made another free agent move, signing safety Jermaine Whitehead on Wednesday.
Whitehead was released by the Baltimore Ravens last Friday.
Originally an undrafted free agent out of Auburn, Whitehead was signed by the San Francisco 49ers in 2015. He was released during final roster cuts and then re-signed to the practice squad, where he spent the first 14 weeks of the season. The Ravens poached Whitehead from the 49ers practice squad in late December.
He didn’t play in a game for Baltimore.
As a senior at Auburn, Whitehead had a team-leading six interceptions.
