The Green Bay Packers' rookie minicamp is behind us, and for almost all of the players who participated in practices on a tryout basis, the weekend has passed by without a contract.
One player, however, is staying in Wisconsin with a contract. That player is offensive lineman Andy Phillips, from Central Michigan, as he tweeted his excitement on Sunday:
After a great rookie camp in Green Bay, I am pleased to announce I am officially a Packer! https://t.co/su3MiIlkI1

Phillips has experience both at guard and center in college; he started at left guard for all of CMU's 38 games over the past three years, as well as starting the final five games of his freshman season at center.
