The Green Bay Packers announced Tuesday that they’ve signed five players futures deals including fifth-round WR DeAngelo Yancey.

Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.
Yancey, 23, was taken in the fifth round of this year’s NFL draft. He signed a four-year, $2.62 million contract with the Packers and was set make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Packers waived him at the start of the season.
