The Detroit Lions officially announced on Saturday that they had released running back Theo Riddick, making way for new signing Mike Daniels to join the roster. After releasing Daniels, the Green Bay Packers should consider signing Riddick, which would effectively make it a “trade” between the two teams.
While the Packers’ running back room is crowded with Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams, Dexter Williams and new signing Corey Grant, depth is going to be important with head coach Matt LaFleur’s commitment to the ground game.
