GREEN BAY – It's been 18 years since a Green Bay Packers shareholders meeting experienced as much energy as was evident at Lambeau Field on Monday.
For perhaps the first time ever, the Packers opened training camp on the same day as a shareholders meeting. Owners and non-owners mixed at the opening practice in the morning and shareholders and their guests entered the Lambeau Field bowl in the afternoon to hear about the state of their team. Combining the two groups of fans resulted in full stadium parking lots, full practice field stands and noticeable electricity in the Lambeau Field Atrium.
