The surprise of the NFL’s first round. The possibility of the Packers selecting a quarterback, and in particular, Utah State’s Jordan Love, had been discussed all offseason long. But did anyone actually believe it would happen?
GM Brian Gutekunst traded away a fourth-round pick in order to move up four positions. It’s yet another bold move by Green Bay’s general manager. One that comes with risk, of course, but also a lot of potential. We won’t know the answer for many years.
As expected, such a big move has been met with mixed responses on Twitter.
