Packers select CB Josh Jackson in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft

Two days, two cornerbacks for the Green Bay Packers.

General manager Brian Gutekunst is committed to improving the secondary, and has now added Josh Jackson and Jaire Alexander to team with Kevin King, Tramon Williams and Davon House.

It was a surprise to see Jackson drop all the way to No. 45. He was a popular choice to Green Bay at No. 14 in mock drafts. This is excellent value.

Here is what Lance Zierlein of NFL.com wrote about Jackson in his draft profile:

“Jackson’s draft stock likely took a hit with his average forty time and unimpressive work in position drills.
