GREEN BAY (WTAQ) — The San Francisco 49ers have been the perennial playoff boogeyman for the Green Bay Packers, bouncing the Green and Gold from the playoffs five times since the Packers last won the Super Bowl in 2010.
The Niners looked like a shell of the franchise they have been this decade, without QB Brock Purdy under center on Sunday. Purdy, ruled out with a sore shoulder, was missed as Brandon Allen took his spot on the roster.
The Packers were dominant in the 38-10 victory, but especially in the second half. Jordan Love threw for 163 yards and two touchdowns to Tucker Kraft and Malik Heath, while RB Josh Jacobs continued his excellent season with 106 yards on 26 carries, scoring a whopping three touchdowns.
