GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers have agreed to a deal with another draft selection.
According to a post on X from the team, the Packers and second-round selection Edgerrin Cooper have agreed to a four-year deal which OverTheCap values at around $8.6 million, with a signing bonus of $3.1 million.
Cooper, 22, started all 12 regular-season games for the Aggies in 2023 and led the SEC with 17.0 tackles for loss. He was named All-SEC First Team and is expected to see much time in defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley’s new 4-3 defense.
Linebacker coach Anthony Campanile spoke about what he’s seen from Cooper so far, saying, “I just think he’s an explosive player.
