DETROIT -- At this point, the Green Bay Packers believe there's no good reason to start Joe Callahan at quarterback in Sunday’s season finale at Detroit.
OK, maybe there’s one good reason.
If Callahan were to play well, it would make their decision to stick with Brett Hundley throughout Aaron Rodgers’ absence look like a mistake.
Yes, Hundley went 3-4 in seven starts between Rodgers’ broken right collarbone on Oct. 15 and his one-game return at Carolina on Dec. 17, and Hundley kept the Packers’ playoff hopes alive, but just barely.
